Achieving a flawless and well-blended smoky eye effect relies heavily on seamless color blending. It is also very important to use a light base colour with a dark rich colour for optimum results.

//1// For avoiding creases in your beautiful eye shadow, apply some eye-shadow base (which is also known as primer). This will also help the eye-shadow to last longer. Let it dry before you apply the rest of the make-up.

//2// Apply eyeliner above the upper lash line, making it thicker in the middle of the eye.

Use a dark pencil around the rim of the eye.

Blend it in right on top of the black pencil you just used.

Lighter shadow comes next.

Removing Mascara

While removing the mascara try to avoid letting the mascara get on the delicate area below the bottom lashes. Be sure to close your eyes. A cotton ball wet with an eye makeup remover is a great way to remove the mascara. Sweep the cotton ball over your eyes until it comes up clean. Then, splash the eye area with warm water to remove any excess mascara and cleanser. Pat dry, and your done!
